Il monastero di Haghbat, situato nel nord dell’Armenia. L’edificio più antico del complesso monastico è la Chiesa di S.Nshan (966-967) dedicato ai figli della Regina Khosrovanush, Smbat e Gurghen.
Si presume che la chiesa sia stata opera del famoso architetto Trdat al servizio dei Bagratidi.

The Haghbat Monastery is in northern Armenia. The church of St.Nshan is the most ancient edifice (966-967) dedicated to Smbat and Gurghen, sons of Queen Khosrovanush. According to an ancient tradition the church is the work of the famous architect Trdat in the service of Bagratounis.
